TransRakyat.com Magelang – Suara gamelan mengalun sendu mengiringi kemunculan para penari kuda lumping. Tiba-tiba gaung gong menghentak seiring irama seperangkat gamelan yang lain, mengawali pertunjukan Sanggar Seni Wahyu Eko Budoyo Temanggung di Panggung Kahanan road show, Rabu (28/4/2021).
Panggung Kahanan Gelar Kesenian Kuda Lumping Di Pendopo Joglo
Gelaran seni budaya yang di siarkan secara virtual kali ini di helat di Pendopo Joglo Rumah Dinas Wali Kota Magelang berlangsung meriah. Selain kesenian kuda lumping, juga di meriahkan Woro Widowati, Justin Liee, dan seniman musik seKaresidenan Kedu. Selain itu, di sajikan pemutaran film pendek “Kendang Keriuk” yang di sutradarai sienas muda Magelang Gepeng Nugroho.
Lincah dan atraktif penari kuda lumping menjadi daya tarik penonton. Apalagi di iringi suara musik dari gamelan yang masih terbilang baru. Ya, satu set gamelan milik Kuda Lumping Wahyu Eko Budoyo merupakan bantuan dari Gubernur Jawa Tengah, Ganjar Pranowo.

Pimpinan Kuda Lumping Wahyu Eko Budoyo, Agus Setyawan menuturkan bahwa kesenian tari kuda lumping sudah menjadi turun temurun dari leluhur di desanya. Hingga saat ini, masih dilestarikan.
“Tiap minggu kita latihan, meski tidak ada tanggapan saat pandemi. Ini bentuk semangat kami dalam melestarikan kesenian,” ujarnya.
