TransRakyat.com Jakarta – Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo resmi menerbitkan izin pertandingan sepak bola Liga 1 dan Liga 2 tahun 2021. Kendati begitu, kompetisi tersebut nantinya harus diselenggarakan dengan penerapan protokol kesehatan (prokes) penanganan Covid-19 atau virus corona yang disiplin dan ketat.
Sigit menjelaskan, meskipun izin kompetisi tersebut diberikan, namun seluruh pihak harus tetap mengutamakan azas Salus Populi Supreme Lex Esto atau keselamatan rakyat sebagai hukum tertinggi. Sehingga, tidak terjadi penyebaran virus corona.
“Karena itu dari hasil diskusi kami memutuskan memberikan izin keramaian dengan catatan tetap melaksanakan protokol kesehatan secara ketat,” kata Sigit dalam jumpa pers di Gedung Mabes Polri, Jakarta Selatan, Senin (31/5/2021).

Menurut Sigit, pihak kepolisian bakal melakukan pengawasan dan evaluasi berkala saat nanti bergulirnya kompetisi Liga 1 dan Liga 2 itu. Pasalnya, apabila di perjalanannya ditemukan pelanggaran maka aparat tak segan untuk memberikan sanksi yang pastinya akan menyangkut dari pertandingan itu sendiri.
