Penyergapan tersangka narkoba terjadi di SPBU Jalan Lintas Timur Desa Lubuk Terap Kecamatan Bandar Petalangan, Kabupaten Pelalawan pada Jumat, (16/4/2021).
Penangkapan ini menjadi tontonan bagi warga sekitar baik petugas SPBU, masyarakat yang kebetulan lewat, serta pelanggan yang hendak mengisi BBM.

Dalam rekaman video itu, tampak tiga pria tertidur posisi tengkurap dengan tangan terikat ke belakang, berbaris di samping mobil minibus berwarna putih.
Ada lima pria lainnya yang di duga polisi yang sebagian menenteng senjata api dan sebagian lain senpinya terselip di pinggangnya.
